Love, Love, LOVE this book. It reinforced again and again concepts that I have argued for time and again in the past, and sincerely hope will become second-nature in the future:
-Rape is caused by Rapists. Period. There's nothing that you do to cause yourself to be raped.
-Girls and young women should be taught that their sexual desires are normal, and that both YES and NO are valid responses to the sex question.
-An "absence of no" shouldn't be the baseline for sexual encounters-- an "enthusiasti

Absolutely amazing. I was completely enthralled with this book and genuinely sad when I finished all of the essays. I have to say, I thought that Julia Serano's essay "Why Nice Guys Finish Last" and Jaclyn Friedman's essay "In Defense of Going Wild" were LIFE CHANGING. I was sobbing by the end of both of them.

This is a great sexuality studies text and I intend to use it as a resource for my writing on these subjects in the future. It is extremely intersectional and brings elements like race, cla
