I was surprised that the publisher chose to release this title straight to paperback. It never bodes well if even the publisher doesn't believe the content warrants a more expensive hardcover release.

Plus, the description seems eerily similar to last years free e-book 'Shutdown'. It sounds as if Anita is going to spend yet another novel lecturing a woman that she needs to change herself to please the man. I'll probably just flip through this one at the book store.

I am a die hard Anita fan, and after 23 books, I think that the other fans will agree that we do not, I repeat, do not care how many men Anita is banging. Seriously! We LOVE that she is embracing her poly lifestyle! We don't need to be talked to death about the justification of her lifestyle! WE GET IT, SO STOP EXPLAINING IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER in each book! I was so excited to get to read a smexxy adventure about our fav werewolf in Anita's group, Jason! How disappointed I was that ...more

Better than a lot of the recent Anita Blake books. Being shorter than the full sized novels meant the story had a single focus and overall I enjoyed the focus. This was a character/relationship centric book. No zombies, no RPIT, no vampire politics, no Edward nonsense, no gun talk.

The other big plus being no attempt to get every available character on stage. Characters actually on stage included Nathaniel, Jason, J.J., Jade, Domino, Envy, and of course Anita. I've always loved Nathaniel and Jas

This is one of the worst books in the Anita Blake series. First of all this is not Jason's book, it is not anymore about Jason than any other book, he just plays a part. The book is about Anita, Jade and JJ, Jason and Nathaniel just play a part.

This book is all about sex and that wouldn't be so bad if it was good sex, but it wasn't. The sex is discussed and described in such a clinical way that I didn't find it sexy at all and I just wanted to skip it. There are a couple of emotional moments be

I'm really confused about this book. It was different from most books, but wasn't, and liked it but felt like something was missing, all at the same time.

It's about JJ & Jason working out issues while also working out issues about Freda. Also about Anita working out issues with Jade. The sex was almost therapeutic, sounds weird but one led to the other. It involves Anita, Jason, JJ, Jade, Domino, & Nathaniel. Others are mentioned but these are the only ones in this book. To me it felt like Anita

This was my least favorite of all the Anita Blake books. I love Anita for her hunting skills 1st and love life 2nd. This is all love life. Jason asks Anita and Nathaniel to have sex with him and his girlfriend JJ a Ballerina. It's sort of a show and tell. Nathaniel and Anita show JJ what being tied up is like and in return JJ who is bisexual helps Anita with her one and only female lover Jade who joins them. If there is a story here I suppose it is about sex & love & learning who is good for the ...more

There was no point to the book...if you can even consider it a book since it's so short and nothing happens other than sex. I miss the old Anita and how she used to kick ass. ...more
