It's been 4 years since I last read this #8 in the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series. In this book, Richard is in Tennessee working on his Masters Thesis. He is arrested. The local Master of the City does not want Anita or Jean Claude to come and help Richard. Richard was arrested for rape. Anita knows it is a false charge. Jean Claude knows Anita will go without him and he sends some wolves, leopards, and 2 vampires with her. The local Wolf pack agrees to help her as well.
