Not as good as the previous books, but it has it's upsides because after all that mushy who shall I choose? and all, in this book they weren't really main characters, they just were mentioned a few times and the main point was that she didn't want to see them anymore, now she's still confused but she'll try less than running to the other side of the world and out of town.

This is the 9th book in the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series. It has been 6 months since Anita refused to see either Richard or Jean Claude. With the help of a witch she had learned to ignore the marks that bound the 3 of them together .

This is my first experience with Anita Blake and I must say I was not disappointed! Yes I missed out on many of the references to other characters and situations from previous books in the series, but this one stood alone pretty well!

OMG!!! Just like every else I was curious with Edward and whoa!! Mutilated bodies, walking zombies with their skin flayed off the body (gross!!)

I loved Edward and Anita's interaction with each other, they're the perfect pair without the sex which is awesome!!!
