So i probably read this for a month, trying to not finish it, untill i figured there was a second-and a third.
i suspected shed be a shadow hunter when they first introduced them.
But what completely caught me off guard was HER AND JACE BEING BROTHER AND SISTER. Why must the universe be so cruel??!! They're so totally completely in love! BAGHHHHH!!
Theres always a jacob.
Its so annoying how simon is just dangled along. I swear these triangles are so always unfair. Like jacob, adrian, peter, ectz... ...more

I've been wanting to re-read this series and actually re-read this book as an audio book. I didn't have any experience with an audio book and thought it would be easier to focus with this specific series since it is one of my faves. It was surprisingly an enjoyable experience because
A. Listening to an audio book actually helped play out the story in my head better
B. I could listen/read and do everything I had to do at the same time which is so so helpful and makes everyday chores actually enjo ...more

The Mortal Instruments. What can I say? I mean besides stating the obvious: This is a MUST read! The first three books in this six part series are just phenomenal. Cassandra Clare creates a world so unlike anything I have ever read before. It is completely original, exciting, and intriguing. I absolutely loved this book until the last chapter. I HATE the ending. I ahve never disliked an ending of a book so much in my life!! I thought for sure that Clary and Jace were going to end up together and they end up being brother and sister..
very good book, can't wait for the next two to come in so i can read them.

The city of Bones was amazing but yet terrifying in ways that cannot be comprehended. We well do a longer review soon... to be continued... :-)
