Pretty interesting, but kinda dry. I really enjoyed John Adams by this same author and this book is not as good, but still worthy. I'm putting it on hold for a while but I'll finish it later.

I love how McCullough makes history come alive. I had never spent so much time immersed in military history. His analysis of the Battle of New York was so clear. Worth the read.
David McCullough writes a great history book. They read like a novel, not your typical dry recitation of facts.
