What Members Thought
I reread this in time for the first Hobbit movie. Still not sure how there are going to be three of them. The first time I read it, I was not impressed. I like it a little better now, after the second read, but it doesn't match the excitement of the Lord of the Rings. Bilbo is a fun character, and it will be nice to see the riddle game played out. Perhaps the necromancer will show up in the movies? That could add a few minutes...I suspect that, instead of having Bilbo get knocked out and missing

I love this story but the audio version I was listening to via Libby was awful.
for me, this was a hard book to follow.
