I've read a lot of fairy tale retellings. There are some rewrites of Snow White that I've come across but not nearly as many as there are of Cinderella. Most of them are just meh. This book was a roller coaster of emotions (sorry Catriona, I stole your line). It was such an amazing ending. As far as I know and have experienced, endings are the hardest part to write, because they have to be perfect. I've seen many books that have accomplished that and a lot more that have failed at it. And most of them are series/trilogies conclusions. I really loved ( almost) every single one of the main characters, I even got to like Levana. She was so well developed and I liked that we ...more

Well, everything happens in this book! EVERYTHING
I was a bit skeptical on how this was going to pull off.
Winter and Jacin are supposed to be the main couple around here, but there's too much going on.
Winter is first introduced in Fairest (Levana story) when she's born and up until her father dies.
Jacin is introduced early in the series but better known in Cress when he betrays Cinder's group to return to Luna.
