What Members Thought

I read this book for the first time in the 9th grade way back when in 1990. Harper Lee quickly became my new literary hero. Seeing the world through Scout's eyes was a fascinating look at some pretty sensitive subjects. Through Scout, Lee shows us that people are people are people, regardless of economic status, skin color, or education level. To this day it remains one of the books that has most impacted my life and I continue to re-read it often.

This book was better the second time I read it it was the same but with a bit more life experience I can appreciate and understand it better. Still so relevant when looking at the current issues with today's society. Everyone needs to re read this classic.
