Underwhelming. This book was predictable from the start which no Thriller ever should be in my opinion.

There was no suspense. The writing was okay but made me feel rather distant and the only thing which really kept me going was the awesome narrator of the audio book. Otherwise this book really fell flat for me, altough I liked the beginning.

Nothing sent chills up my spine since nothing really dramatic happened.

If there is a book that advocates against marriage this is it! And I love it. Don't put all your eggs in one basket and don't marry someone who seems to be perfect. This is a great thriller that left me emotional. ...more

This was an addictive read! Not addictive in the conventional sense though, it was addictive because you already knew what was happening but just wanted to know how everything panned out.

Initially I didn’t like either Grace or Jack, they both grated on me and I just couldn’t understand why either of them was doing what they were doing. Most of the characters felt a little one dimensional, but I did feel myself getting frustrated and angry alongside them so I suppose they had some substance!

Wow! I´ll read more about Domestic Noir ´cause this book was fantastic, it exceeded my expectations!

In the beginning, my attention wasn´t caught by the narrative, it seems predictable but fortunately, I was wrong :D

Ok, maybe you´ll guess some things but also you´ll fall in love with the way they were developed, especially the role of Millie. And it´s a very slightly reading, you can read in two hours or three, give it a chance ;3.
