Crossroads is a book that I think is the ultimate Young Adult book. It is a book I would have my own 16 year old read. It offers great romance and faith based living. It follows a young girl raised by a single mom and a caring Gamma(a name my kids also used)who comes of age in the most remarkable way.

Filled with star crossed lovers, fantastical creatures, good friends, beautiful places and evil, this book is an easy read. This easy to follow plot is full of twists, turns, surprises and battles

Let me first start off with my difficulty. This is my first romance novel, and I would stay away from romance novels and movies of such, unless my date promises to watch a horror movie with me, and let me drink the entire night until I get smashed, and yet she has to kiss me. Even at that, I would still think twice about going to a romantic movie.

Now that is out, I would like to say this for the book. I actually enjoyed it. :) I do admit there are parts I feel uncomfortable with, and mostly jeal

I have typically been reviewing books on vampires or werewolves and a few of them with witches even. Although I did review a Nalini Singh book that revolved around angels.

Crossroads is a very different book than I would normally review.

The book had heavy religious overtones although it wasn't particularly evangelistic. The reader could become quite engrossed in the story. I think because of my Catholic roots, much of the background resurrected (if I may) from my dusty archives (brain).

I am on vacation and not near my computer so I'm having to write this on my tablet using speech to text feature. This is new to me so please be patient if I miss any mistakes that happen.

Let me start by saying, Crossroads is an interesting book. I think this may be the author, Mary Ting's, first book. If so, she did a nice job. Although, I think there was an awful lot of repetition. Since I read it on my Kindle app on my tablet with Whispersync, my experience includes the narration by Amanda Fri

As a Paranormal Romance author myself, I can't help but enjoy reading novels close in theme to my own, although I generally hold them to a higher standard because of it. I'll get right to the point: Crossroads is a great read. I won't say I read it in one night, but the only reason I didn't is because I was busy with work and class.

The idea of the other world known as Crossroads and the supernatural powers that the angel/human hybrids possess are new, fun and exciting. It takes themes from fanta

Crossroads is a delightful story about a girl named Claudia, whose best friend dies. She is then thrust into all sorts of situations that challenge everything she believes to be real, within a series of repeated dreams where she meets otherwordly beings, some of these beings protect her--and some of them hunt her.

From there, she is led down a path, with many twists and turns, where she get gets to learn the facets of love. But the wonderfully, delightful twist is the half-angel, beautifully wri

This novel is incredibly engrossing. Claudia has an odd ability...foresight through her dreams. She dreams of a girl with her exact same name dying in a horrible way...and she is right. Claudia is thrown into an unknown reality after the similar girl's death. Her friends and family are much more concerned with her whereabouts and safety and she meets a love interest, Michael-a boy who turns out to be much more than he seems. The book takes off right from t

OMG!!!! This is my new favorite!! I love the Angels! There were a lot of twists and turns and it was beautifully written. I fell in love with all the characters! It was just simply amazing I have nothing else to say :)

Cons: I should not have read "Peeks to the next Book" Worst mistake ever! And I couldn't wait for the sequel before...gosh! I should not have done that. Now it'll be impossible to wait :P

5 Stars!!!
