****1/2 All of the criticisms that have been thrown at this book are admittedly legitimate, but as someone who is obsessed with the history of SF this was a fascinating and invaluable read for me. Sure the stories are hit and miss, the “shocking content” is either underwhelming or legitimately still in bad taste, but for a peek at the edgier, more experimental aspects of the SF community of the 1960s this was great.
