Revenge is the dominating factor in Fuzzy Navel. A man’s wife is attacked and he is prompted to form a vigilante group to seek revenge. Before the group known as The Urban Hunting Club is finished several rapists are dead as well as a number of police officers. The Urban Hunting Club is also determined to include Jack Daniels in their list of victims.

If you haven’t read this series yet, you should probably start now. Just sayin. They are centered around Lieutenant Jacqueline “Jack” Daniels of the Chicago Police Department. I don’t want to say too much on the plot here since this is 5th book in the series. I will say that this is been my favorite one so far. They are literally laugh out loud funny (I got quite a few odd stares at work) while also having a heavy plot. You need the comedy to stomach some of the murders Jack deals with. The char

Being a big fan of J.A. Konrath's Jack Daniels series, this latest book, the fifth in the installment is by far the best one to date.

Wow, this ended with a huge cliffhanger! Alex is such a freak. You can't even feel bad for her because she's so psycho. And poor Latham! Goodness. Everyone gets dragged into Jack's messes. Hopefully this series ends well with the next book!

Incredibly fast-paced a bit overwhelming. I still loved it, but it definitely got my heart racing. I don't want to tell what this story is about for fear that I'll give something away. This is the first book of Joe's that actually had me afraid to read what came next. Afraid that I couldn't handle it. With my love for the thriller/horror genre, that's not easy to do. Kudo's to you Joe.

Even better on the second read...although the cliff hanger ending still pisses me off. Love the fast pace and psychotic cat.
