This is a fantastic collection of Lovecraft's best and major work, most of his Cthulhu Mythos stories in one book. I loved this as my first taste of Lovecraft as a teenager, and I love it still. The stories paint the insignificance of mankind, compared to aeons-old gods and monsters; the cosmic vastness of time and space is the main character here, as man is usurped at all angles by hideous horror.

All the stories here are good, but the best are excellent, absolutely classic Lovecraft. There is ...more
