Fury. How can I put this into words without me gushing like a total fangirl and spilling about everything that happens in this book?! LOVED. IT. I cannot actually believe how amazing this book is. Fury. How can I put this into words without me gushing like a total fangirl and spilling about everything that happens in this book?! LOVED. IT. I cannot actually believe how amazing this book is. I was hooked from page 1 and didn't stop until I'd reached the ending. The words just grab your attention and the creepy eeriness of the novel keeps you guessing at what would happen. The suspense, the cliffhanger and the mythology– Gods, what else can you ask for?

Em...okay. She's a great character, but could have better traits. I mean, sometimes, she's always there to help people, she finds the best in them and tries to work her way by mending faults and trying to look forward to the future. But the thing is that...she cheats. With her best friend's boyfriend. Does nobody else see the tragedy in that? and I really loved her best friend Gabby. She's really sweet and I feel sorry for her. But I'm glad that things kind of (not really...) do see the gold pot at the end of the rainbow. ish.
Now for our second main character– Chase. I loved him. I've gotta say, he's pretty hot and swoon-worthy. I don't think there's too many faults with him, except for probably the fact that he did something terrible, and that's why he's "chosen" (don't want to give too much away). Now, as for Zach. Okay, will admit: liked him when I first heard about him. I was like, why not? EHEM. Big. Mistake. I love JD though. He's so cute and I feel sorry for him, because he kinda treated like a chauffeur by Em (another fault of hers)! He's just so sweet and understanding. I want him! :D
Ty, Ali and Meg. I'm seriously going to have nightmares about these girls. Their sinister and frightening manner in which they approach and get to know these characters is really dark. Like, I felt like just hiding under my blankets when I read about them. Yikes. I'm not going to tell you how important they are to the novel, but you people out there who can guess–please keep it to yourselves. It's important. I, myself, guessed and got it right. You'll just have to see what happens!

This book's descriptions were amazing. I could really feel the terror and suspense building up as it got to the climax from the characters Em and Chase. It was really easy to connect with the characters, and the way we saw the events taking place through their alternating perspectives. It was great to see through a boy's POV for a change. Although, it was like, not 1st person, but 3rd. You get the point.
I also love how that suspense and tension does change with heart-pounding twists to the story. I've never been on the edge of my seat with a book before, but it certainly did for me. Trust me, go get this book. NOW. You will not be disappointed.

Fury was dark and powerful. It was gripping and thrilling, definitely a debut you do not want to miss. Elizabeth Miles has done an amazing job with mythology blending it with mystery and some romance. I'm terrified yet intrigued for book 2, Envy. If it's anything like this one, I'm definitely going to pick it up the moment it comes out. ...more
