Author: David Estes
Rating: 5
Summary: Taylor meets a cute boy when she goes off to college, however, she seems to be the only one that sees the subtle glow that surrounds here. There is also something about him that scares her. However, she is also unknown to her, the key to ending a century old war centered on evolution.

So, "Angel Evolution" is like a big tasty looking slice of pizza that you don't know what the ingrediens are, but it confuses your senses with the yummy smell and once you get a bite you cannot do anything but eat it all...(sry for the food analogy)
First of all, I must properly appologise to the author and to myself(i had a guilty conscience) for not finishing this book earlier. It's not because I didn't like it(Oh My Gabriel! -it was amazing), it's just because time was not on my side. ...more

A clever YA story that is part one of a series by Mr. Estes. It is a decent introduction into a world beset with angels, demons and self-sure coeds!!
The lead protagonist, is a bit of a firebrand that is pretty set in her ways and the arrival of Gabriel certainly upsets her confidence of being in control. Samantha was a pleasant surprise. She enters the story and we are led to believe that she is no more than Taylor's sidekick but eventually becomes instrumental to the story. Without giving away ...more
