On The Bad Side:
I didn't like the format of the this novel. I found the point of view (POV )shifts between chapters disconcerting. The shifts broke up any connection I was beginning to feel for the characters. I would have preferred the author just stick with one or two 1st person narrators. Tara and Richie would have been two good ones.
Peter was a rather dull character. He could have been deleted from the novel, and I would not have missed him. HIs wife and children were far more interesting.
