Somebody, throw this book at an HBO executive. It must be made into a critically acclaimed tv series with all the gratuitous sex and violence that comes with the network.

"Dallas on the Moon" But in a good way!

I was not expecting that. I had only read one McDonald before and been underwhelmed.

New Moon is a rich and complex milieu of contracts and betrayals. There is a very unique interplay between the Brazilians, the Australians and the Ghanaians, with some Chinese & Russians thrown in for good measure.

I was constantly surprised by how real and natural the utterly man made moon civilization felt. Every scene was well fleshed out in a few simple sentences.

O my god this book was amazing. It's an epic of ASOIAF proportions set on the moon, pitting family corporation against family corporation and filled with truly awesome characters and twists. I never thought I'd be so interested in matrimonial and contract law, that's for sure. When/if they option this for TV you guys are going to love it. ...more
