Anansi Boys is your typical Gaiman book, clever & funny. American Gods myth from the African perspective, revolving around Anansi, the spider/trickster god. Entertaining while also giving new perspective on gods, civilization, brothers, love, horrible bosses, greed, powerful women, murder, ghosts, England and the Caribbean Islands.

I think that I just need to resign myself to the fact that I don't get Neil Gaiman. This wasn't a bad book, but there's just something about it that was lackluster.
