What Members Thought

This is the perfect introduction to Miles. Ruined as his body is, his spry mind & motor mouth take him into & out of the most remarkable situations. His ambitions constantly war with his duties, his world with him, yet he finds answers that work, if not always the ones he wants. Quite possibly the most likable & heroic character, if not figure, in any book that I've had the pleasure of reading.

Another delightful read. I'm giving it a four and not five due to the middle. At first Miles's machinations were downright cracky, though, as the story went along, they gained realism. I think his personality could have been better supported with a little more development early on, as in let's say his parents knew of his tendencies and sought some sort of occupation/diversion to keep him out of trouble. Yes, going to Beta was sort of like that, but there was so much SAD surrounding it and it did
