Forty-one books and this series is still going strong. I've loved this series from the very beginning, some installments more than others but always a strong solid read that brings marvelous hours of reading pleasure. Bravo to J.D. Robb on this amazing accomplishment through the years.

Lightning review:
- As far s ....In Death books go, this one is somewhere in the upper-middle of the pack as far as enjoyability.
- I liked the concept of the 'Natural Born Killers' couple doing a murder spree and loving each other up. But I think I would have preferred them to fall more on the 'crime of opportunity' scale rather than what they were (view spoiler) .
- Great new character introduced in out-of-state Sheriff Deputy Bann ...more

WOW. Creepy much? The two killers were TOTALLY SICK. Like totally twisted!!! And that's not a spoiler considering the very beginning of the story is from their points of view!
I liked how almost everyone cop-related had to come together to solve this one. I also really liked the visiting Deputy from Arkansas! He was cool and brought a sort of outsider's view on New York and all their lives. :) ...more
