Loved this one.

42 books into this series and how can it possibly remain fresh? Well let me tell you, Brotherhood in Death is one of the best so far. This is a very good thing because the previous book, Devoted in Death, was kind of boring. But then I guess the one before that, Obsession in Death, was pretty freaking awesome. Maybe even NR has an off day??

Another great installment in J.D. Robb’s highly popular futuristic romantic suspense series. Dr. Charlotte Mira and her husband, Dennis move to center stage in this particularly dark and gritty criminal case. Readers will get a deeper look into the life of the Miras, when Dennis is caught in a bro-hood mix of power, politics, sex and lies. Once again - knocked out of the park. This time, Eve is called in by Dennis and Charlotte Mira after Dennis's cousin, former senator Edward Mira, has gone missing. When the body of Senator Mira is found the next day, after being tortured and hanged, Eve begins a journey that is going to bring up memories she thought she had finally gotten past. Even though I know that Eve will figure out what happened in the end, it's still an awesome journey.
