2023 Reread
I feel exactly as I did the first time I read this book except listening to it made such a difference in hearing Adam’s voice, the pain and desperation that apparently defined him. I’m really glad I decided to opt for the audio version for my reread.

This is a fitting tribute for the repeal of the Don't Ask, Don't Tell military policy.

I was sooooo mad! Here I am all caught up. I mean, ADAM!! After everything! Finally I am going see what is behind the facade. And flash, bam, thank you, man...it ended!
But it is because I was so caught up, I gave it ★★★★. Any book that gets to me that much deserves a good rating. But it lost a star simply because it was TOO SHORT!!
Please, Ms. Brockmann, more!
