Karen Rose is definitely the master when it comes to creepy killers, eerie chillers, and dark thrillers, and this was certainly no exception. Medical Examiner Lucy Trask is devastated to learn that the body she stumbled upon while jogging is someone from her past. Soon more victims are placed in her path, and it becomes clear that a malicious killer has set his sights on Lucy. Only by revealing her deepest secrets can she save herself from becoming his next target.
Lucy is an appealing heroine although her tendency toward secret keeping is rather irritating, especially as a killer is out to get her.

I could not put this down. It was very fast paced and an excellent read. The characters were very interesting and realistic. Lucy and J.D. had great chemistry and the romance flowed really nicely. Perfect balance of suspense and romance.

this is a great book highly recommend this book if you want a good suspence novel
This is a fast moving mystery from Karen Rose. There is some strong action, an evil bad guy, a really fascinating detective & his partner, and the female lead - Lucy is a tough woman. Rose has created a slew on interesting, powerful women. Good, bad, young, old these broads are not shrinking violets.
This one was pretty good. One of my favorites by this author. I enjoyed the relationship between JD and Lucy. They were a cute couple.
The audiobook has really bad narration. Characters appeared angry most of the book due to this. Disappointed with the book for this reason.
As always, no diappointment here. I love Karen Rose's books and am always anxious for the next one.
