Dani and Diesel - I've been waiting for this one for a long time and Karen Rose did not disappoint. No one and I mean no one can craft a thriller like Karen Rose. Layers upon layers and lots of bodies make a maze of a tale and at the heart are two innocent children who Diesel and Danni have to protect. We get a round up of all the Cincinnati Series characters and It was great to see them in action along with Dani and Diesel. I suspect that this may be the last Cincinnati Series book and it was f

I'm caught up now in Karen Rose's "Cincinnati Series." Whew -- after two in a row of her over-sized books, I'm frazzled by the intensity of the last two books. And once again, totally satisfied and excited for what comes next. But first, I have two more catch-ups in another of Rose's series.
Diesel has always been a bit of a mystery and his silent affection for Dr. Dani thoroughly enchanting. And to see her reciprocate was a beautiful thing. Together these two are downright delightful even with a ...more

Into the Dark by Karen Rose is the 5th book in her Cincinnati romance suspense series. The last book I had read in this series, I had noted that it was one of the best thrillers of the year. I have read a few of Rose’s other series, and they were equally as awesome. I was thrilled to find out that Into the Dark returns to the Cincinnati series, which has some wonderful secondary characters. Once again, Rose gives us a sensational book, which not only keeps us on the edge of our seats with intens

I love Dani and Diesel. Their chemistry is great and having read previous books where they appeared it feels about time. Though you can follow the storyline without having read any previous books, it's good having read at least the previous Cincinnati series for the character growth.
In this book there's a lot of different storylines going on that connect. Seeing from different points of view is great. There's some horrid and traumatic ...more

A return to Cincinnati for the story of Dr Dani Novak and Diesel Kennedy. They have been attracted to each other for sometime but Dani has kept Diesel at arm's length. When a killer puts a pair of boys at risk - and one of them is deaf - Dani steps in to be a temporary foster parent. The killer is escalating. He started with pedophiles and domestic abusers, but things have gotten out of hand and he must kill to protect his identity. There are loads of layers here as Diesel and Dani deal with the
