4 stars - Crime/Mystery/Suspense

This is a good mystery, and I liked the characters. I just wish there had been some romance between the H/h. Still, the series has promise, and there seems to be potential for romantic development between Bree and Matt. I'll definitely read the next book when it comes out.

As a child, Bree Taggert and her siblings were witnesses to the horrific murder-suicide of their parents. Now a Philadelphia homicide detective, Bree returns home to Grey's Hollow after the fatal shooting of her sister for which her estranged husband is the prime suspect. Has history repeated itself or is something more sinister in play?

In August and September, I devoted more time to reading than writing reviews and I’ve completely fallen behind in the latter. I’ve read all seven books currently available in this marvelous series – all 5 star-reads. So, here goes trying to catch up before next year brings two more exciting additions to the mix.

I’ve decided to rate them all now and then go back and post full reviews as time allows. Otherwise, I’m losing track of what I’ve read, reviewed or if I've even posted a rating. That woul

I got into this series due to the fact that it was on Kindle Unlimited listen and hear. Super happy that I did. My second favorite genre is Mystery and this was the first that came up in my list.

This book follows Bree and her desire to find her sister's murderer. I love the prologue of the book that gave very vital information to our FMC. The MMC is mmm-mmm love him. This is not really a romance per se. It's just a shake of it.

I enjoyed the pace of the book and the narrator. The end

Enjoyed this book. My rating would actually be 7/10. I wish Goodreads had a 10 star rating system. This book is better than a 3 but not quite at my 4 ranking.

I enjoyed the red herrings that the author presented. I even suspected someone I’m not even sure was supposed to be an actual suspect because the author was throwing some curve balls in the mix.

I will definitely be moving on to the next in this series.
