4 stars. This was a good book! I had not read anything by Ms. Wood before, but I won this book from a giveaway and it sounded really good. This was a wolf shifter book, and it ranked right up there with my favorite shifter books by Suzanne Wright.
This is Chloe and Ian Lachlan's book. Chloe lost her parents and left her pack because she was suspicious of their deaths, but the pack didn't want her investigating. She joined another pack and found a home there. When she arrived she met Ian, who had ...more

What an excellent beginning to a new series!
Lachlan is a man who is barely surviving the loss of his mate. Chloe helps him the best she can before leaving the pack she has been with since her parents died two years ago. Without a word to him, Chloe leaves on a quest ( with the help of her grandmother) to find out who killed her parents and why. After an odd visit from a neighboring pack, Lachlan goes to find her feeling she was in danger from them. Being the strong woman that she is, she refuses ...more

Wow! So many questions answered! Knowing that this was more shifter focused vs the vampire aspect, I honestly was hesitant. Dumb on my part because we all know CC Wood knows what she is doing. She managed to build such a connection once again, that forces you to read, start to finish with as little interruptions as possible.
Chloe is leaving another pack for reasons of the past never fading and for reasons that effect her future. Lach is slowly on the mend thanks to Chloe's persistent care. What ...more

I love this story, such strong characters and none of that half-baked 'he loves me, he loves me not' this feels like a real story and I would love to read more of them :-) I can recommend this to any one. Thanks C.C Wood for another great story!

Blood & Bone is the story of wolf shifters Ian Lachlan and Chloe MacArthur. Chloe is enforcer for the pack they both belong to while Lachlan has been grieving for the last two years. Together, they create a bond that ultimately becomes more. This story has as much action and mystery as it does romance. It's a fast paced and is an emotionally centered book. I truly enjoyed it and look forward to book 2.

As always, CC writes a world that powers your imagination. Chloe's situation broke my heart, but luckily, Lachlan was able to get his head out of his a$$ and give us the HEA we all want.
I think I might have a crush on Chloe. She is tough, powerful, independent, strong, and does what she wants.
I am so excited about this new series and I can't wait to see what she gives us in book 2. ...more

I loved that C.C. Wood decided to do a spin off from the Bitten series. Also getting a glimpse at the old characters was pretty awesome too.
I enjoyed every bit of Ian Lachlan & Chloe MacArthur story. The chemistry between them was hawt but also heart warming.
Like I've stated in other reviews from C.C. Wood is that one of my favorite things is the strong women she writes.

Oh my goodness!!! I'm probably gonna crash halfway through today as this was so good I stayed up all night reading it. I have read other books in this universe and this one doesn't disappoint. And since it's a new series, though some names are familiar to those of us familiar with the worlds created by this wonderful author, it's a perfect read for those new to her as well. I can't wait for Rhys' book.
