Gawd, How I've missed C.C.'s storytelling!
I forgot how effortlessly she can draw her readers (me) into her characters lives and their story.

Right from the beginning, C.C. had me. (I missed Teri & Zoe's bantering).
Zoe's character has evolved since I first met her, and I like where she's going.
She's still the strong, sassy woman we first met, but I found her to be more confident in this book. She's learning to trust her feeling towards Mal (since th ...more

Raise The Dead brings a new storyline for our gang of misfits, Mal, Stony, Blaine, Jonelle, Teri, and Zoe. Zoe is in the midst of learning all about her powers when a new foe arises, demanding attention. The action in this one is faster yet just as scary as the other books, with a gradual build-up that reaches a terrifying peak but don't fear. The story finishes with a nice and sweet HEA. The third installment in the series and oh my stars!!! I love this series and the author tried murdering me with these plot twists.

I'm already dying for book four to see what happens next to Teri, Zoe, Malachi, Stony, Jonelle and team.
