What an amazing ride!!!!

This was a glorious tale, I really enjoyed it! I'd been looking since Mort e for another book that brought animals to a level of human consciousness. I would have enjoyed almost anything similar, but this one is probably the best recommendations that the Goodreads audience has given me!

It's hard to make a novel about bees compelling. This felt like a cross between 1984 and the bit from TE White's Arthur books where Wart goes to live as a bee. Very well-written and I learned a lot about bees, but it was very dry.
