Hmm, I know I'm in the boat by myself on this review, but I gotta tell it like I see it. This series, since the first book, has been one of my very top favorite paranormal romances. The earlier books had it all: romance, passion, suspense, laugh out loud moments and action with such great alpha male characters - and their love interests were great, too. If I was rating this on the side stories I might give it a 4 except they all ended in cliffhangers of course. The best part was Gilly and Williams on going story, which ends very poorly here in a big ole cliffy. I put this under cliffhangers hate this, but the main story does end completely but... the main story takes up only maybe a little over 1/2 of the reading, the rest is William and Gilly or Cameo. Did she take a page out of Black Dagger Brotherhood? Well I stopped reading mostly beca ...more

Same old things I like/don't like about the series.... Like the quirky humour, mythology and the storyline moving forward..don't like the repetitive couple scenes and the overall length, just too long and would be heaps better with some succinct editing.
