The second novel in D.B. Reynolds' Vampires in America (VIA) paranormal romance series and a direct continuation of Raphael. Though the title 'Jabril' refers to a key vampire lord - the 'big bad' of the novel, the main focus is on the vampire lord Raphael and his human mate Cyn. As such, it contains big spoilers for 'Raphael' and readers who skip the previous novel will miss out on key information and character development.

Although this book is entitled "Jabril" the villain of the piece, it really is Raphael, part 2 the continuation of the story of the vampire Lord, Raphael and the fiesty PI, Cynthia Leighton.
