Dance when the moon sings, and don't cry about troubles that haven't yet come.
I’d heard about this series for over a year before I indulged. People raved on the Urban Fantasy/Paranormal Romance forums over it constantly, so who wouldn’t be curious? Shapeshifters aren’t really my thing, but Urban Fantasy, series, and good stories are, so I was eager to dive into it and join the “raving” crowds. Did it live up to my expectation?

I really enjoyed this introduction to the Mercy Thompson series . Mercy is a great heroine who is strong, persistent, smart, and realistic. Loved her! Full review to come.

Interesting new character, female mechanic and walker (shifter) Mercy Thompson. Mercy has a good heart and was raised by werewolves.
Oh drat, I'm on book #7 of Mercy Thompson when I heard that it was chronologically linked with the Alpha & Omega series (starting with Cry Wolf). So now I have to catch up with the Alpha & Omega books. If you want to do it right from the beginning, here's the reading order. (view spoiler) ...more

I really enjoyed this one! :) Mercy was just the right balance of independent and strong without being snarky or bitchy. And I love that she fixes cars! :)

Excellent first book in the Mercy Thompson series. I devoured this book. I love the author's writing style, it flows nicely, and it's easy to keep up with the author's world building.
I really like Mercy, she's strong, intelligent and thoughtful. Who ever ends up with this girl is going to be one lucky SOB.
I've had this series in my TBR pile for a long time, damn glad it called out to me...
Highly recommend this book! ...more

I tried not to read this series just based on the cover art alone, but after a friend bugged me enough I finally broke down and read it. And I hate to admit it but I became a fan of Mercedes.
I have read the other books, Alpha-Omega and loved those.. I know that now I will continue the Thompson series.
