Interesting town. Manipulative grandmother. Emotionally scarred vampire. Human on the run from the mob. Throw it all together and you get a cute, fluffy story.

Very funny

A lighthearted romance. This book was sweet and had a bit of mayhem in dealing with a former employer. The book is a humorous urban fantasy that kept me interested. Loved it and will definitely continue reading in this series.

If you got to run from the mafia.... why not to become a bride in a faraway city where everyday is Halloween? The thing is, he is a real vampire and she falls for him, and now?

I absolutely am in love with the female main character. She's strong with some flaws and insecurities but isn't obnoxiously loud, annoying, or over the top. The main lead is strong and the writer did a good job showing his vulnerability without making him too whiny. And when he is starting to go down the "woe is me" path, the writer is there with either the female lead or supporting characters to call him on it.
