This is book one in the Fantasyland series by Kristen Ashley and boy is it a winner! I was told about this book from a friend of mine who knows me well and we share very similar tastes in books. This book has checked all of my romance boxes: (1) it has paranormal/fantasy theme, (2) it has fully developed characters and story line, (3)the heroine is strong and capable with a good sense of humor, (4)the love scenes are just steamy enough without going too far, (5) it's part of a series that is very

Kristen Ashley has done it again. Of course this is a bit of a departure from the other books that I have read by her, but it was just as good as the other.
Finnie goes to a parallel universe where everyone, well the good people, has a twin. She wants to go for the adventure, but mainly so that she can have a chance to see her loved ones again or at least this new world's version of them. She changes places with Sjofn, her twin. Sjofn, who we don't hear from personally, wants to leave her world ...more

This book was definitely different from my expectations since I have only read contemporary romance from this author. Finnie would give anything to have more time with her parents, who died when she was 15 – and now that she knows about parallel universes and that she has a twin there she is ready to go on the greatest of adventures! . She’s convinced that not only will the other universe be an adventure, she’d have her parents again, it isn’t forever and it’s well worth a million dollars. What

$4.99, 484 pgs ***** (3rd read) Frey Drakkar & Finnie 5 stars all 3 times I’ve read this book. This is the ultimate romance story with the best sex scenes, undying love, devotion, protection, excitement, adventure and anything other word you want to throw in there. Character build was perfect on all characters. I fell in love with every character from their mention in the story. This story makes you wish with every breath there was another world with our twins that would give everyone anothe

I was hesitant to read Kristen Ashley's Fantastical series. In awe of her other books, I worried that her paranormal books wouldn't be up to par. I should've known KA wouldn't disappoint. Wildest Dreams was a great beginning to the Fantastical series. The storyline was unique and captivating from page one. The hero, Frey Drakkar, is in charge of the elves and the dragons and is a typical KA alpha male--smokin' hot and super sexy. The heroine, Seaofin, switches places with the woman who is to wed

Ok, so I've been meaning to pick this up but kept dawdling since no matter how much I enjoy the story at first,KA's heroines and 'alpha' (assholes) get on my nerves real fast.
Anyway, the premise seemed interesting and I did like the story and Finnie didn't make me want to roll my eyes all that much.
So onwards to the next book. ...more
