What Members Thought

This is the second book in Black Dagger Brotherhood series and much better then the first one, although I have been told that book 1 was the weakest of the series.
I really really enjoyed the characters in this book. Especially Rhage and Zsadist. Rhage isn't just a pretty face who is all about himself, getting what he wants, at least not anymore, there are reasons for is actions.
And there is so much potential to be had with the Zsadist story I can't wait to get into it. ...more

My rating will remain the same. I still liked Rhage alone and with Mary. The only issue I had was when he had to be with someone else after Mary came into his life. The good thing is we didn't have to suffer through the details. I was going to deduct a star this time due to that, but I loved everything else about this story so much that it didn't seem worth the deduction.

3.5 stars. I just don't like the Lessers and that whole storyline. So basically, I don't like half the book.

This story of Rage and Mary made me cry...Damn Rage is willing to be cursed forever with his beast if Scribe Virgin will let Mary live...but of course the price is even higher than the beast...but I can't tell you about that...you have to read the story yourself. Once again J.R. has done a outstanding job of story telling and of getting emotions from me just from her written words. I actually cried and I went to sleep thinking about them and I woke up thinking about them. I have been obsessed...
