Light entertainment. There were amusing moments but I didn't particularly care for any of the characters so it was hard to maintain interest. I wasn't terribly convinced by the romance between Ethan & Alexis. The ending was quite abrupt so I suppose the story is continued in a sequel, however, I doubt I'll bother to find out. ...more

Alexis Baldizzi & Ethan Carrick

Posting my comments from a buddy as my review for this one:
Prologue & chapter 1: I like Alexis so far, she seems like she isn't going to take any sh*t. And just from this little bit, that is exactly what Ethan needs.

Chapter 2-4: I found Alexis a bit whinny, with all the Brittany is pretty, but naive and sleeping with a gorgeous man, why can't I be tall and pretty and why doesn't anyone worthwhile want me.

Ethan Carrick is the head vampire in Vegas and of course he owns a casino, because what the heck else could a vampire do in Vegas? I really enjoyed this book. I laughed out loud and did a lot of smiliing. It was a light, sexy read that I looked forward to picking up. I loved Ethan and Alexis, both were witty, while one was charming the other was a smart ass and it worked. yYou'll love the chemistry between the two. Do yourself a favor and pick up this book, it's hot, it's charming and it's funny. Enjoy, I sure did.
