The beginning of this book was a little hard for me to get into, because it was so long since I'd read Divergent and Insurgent. I was playing catch up with the characters and trying to recall what I could. I think the reason I waited so long was that I learned of a certain spoiler that I'm sure a lot of people have heard of by now. 3.5 stars. Sort of reminds me of The Maze Runner when they escape their experimental environment. Allegiant was not as compelling as the first 2 books in the series, but it was a decent final book in the trilogy. (That doesn't mean that I liked the end or you will either, but it made sense.) Definitely my least favorite view of Tobias.

I loved this entire series! The ending was not what I was expecting. Some people might not like the ending, but I didn't think it ruined the entire series, like some have said.
