What Members Thought
To give this the most equitable rating, I normalized my review of this book with the stars given by another one of our prominent RMFW members. Fantasy titles do not usually draw me, but I'd heard a lot about this author and particular book. Indeed, the first few chapter hooked me. Then chapter four or five felt like a typical fantasy; although it was well written, it slowed down too much.
