My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 unicorns - I loved it!

Okay first things first, Christine is a sweetie and gifted this super early ARC because I loved book 1! YAY!!! (insert girly squeal here) This book was no different because I absolutely loved it! There is only one thing that I didn’t like and that is the cliffhanger ending, but it was the logical place to stop (so stop hating before you start)! Secrets and Lies in the second book in the Cassie Scot series. We pick up were we left off in ParaNormal Detective with Cassie being diowned by her parents and owning a life debt to the son of the family the Scot's hate the most, the Blackwoods. Cassie is determined to stand on her own to feet without the finical assistance her parents have offered her. She attempts to get her old job back at the sheriffs office but the Sheriff puts her off. I enjoyed this book a lot. I got completely taken by both the thriller and the romance aspects, so much that it became quite difficult to put the book down before the end. It's also going to be quite hard to wait until May to read the next book! ...more
