I've loved the movie for years but never read the book until now. The movie was a loving, faithful adaptation that really brought life to the characters and the situations, but of course, the book had the chance to delve a little deeper, present more complex characters and even included a few characters and words and situations that were completely missing from the movie.

I'm glad to have finally met some of Atticus's siblings but I can well see why they were left out of the cinematic version. T

Excellent! Atticus reminded me everything I loved about King Aurthur in First Knight. He displayed the unconditional love, patience, understanding and sacrifice of Christ. The story being told from Scout's perspective made it so humorous and entertaining. The theme is powerful and poignant. Loved it! ...more
