What Members Thought
This should be required reading - especially since it tops many lists of books to be banned in some school districts espeically in rural areas. I read it as a teen in high school and didn't really understand the implications at 15. REading it as an adult, in light of current events in the United States, is much more chilling.

Still relevant today. Orwell had a uncanny knack to see how dangerous a totalitarian sociey could be. As we in America continue to be monitored more and more I appreciate this novel more and more. A must read for everyone who feels a sense of doom in our goverments constant surveillance of our lives.
