What Members Thought
I wish I could give this about 3.5 stars rather than four. I really enjoyed the first half of the book but as soon as Esther started slipping into insanity and suicidal thoughts, I had a harder time relating to her and ended up skimming the last portion of the book. Maybe if I would have read this ten years ago or more I would have enjoyed it more. However after such a depressing read, I almost picked up a Jane Austen novel! Almost.
