Everything falls into place in this third and final instalment of the Mac 'n Cheese series. It's got everything a finale should have; zippy action, goons waving guns and wonderful banter but what sends it into the 5 star category for me is how all of that craziness is also balanced by some deeply poignant and sad moments.. good ol' ugly cry bits. In this new installment of Mac & Cheese Mac and Henry as well as Henry's sister Viola are on the run, Hiding out at Mac's parent's house. A crooked lady in the FBI is hunting Mac down ruthlessly. Henry is busy looking for Remy who may have some information that may help Mac clear his name. Meanwhile there's an evil mastermind that Mac never expected, behind it all and out for revenge.

I'm very glad they published them so close together, because while they're three separate books, what we're really dealing with here is a three-act play. One-month intermissions were a tolerable length :) I envy the people who'll be able to read it all in one go!
But yeah, great third book! Action-y, romantic (not super romantic, but the appropriate level for these two characters), angsty, tense. I loved Ana and Ian, Cory an ...more
