When I first heard that John Grisham was writing a sequel to "A Time to Kill" I was beyond thrilled. "A Time to Kill" is one of my favorite books, and one of the few that Hollywood didn't mess up too badly when releasing a movie version. Considering John Grisham usually writes fast paced, edge of your seat legal thrillers I was positive I would enjoy this book.

While I have seen movies based on his books, this is the first book written by John Grisham that I have read. Grisham spins several tales at once, finally bringing them all together to make sense of the overall story in the end. This writing style kept me engaged to the end.
