Murray captures with humor and poignancy the unique misery of being 14 as he explores the lives of young men at an Irish Catholic prep school, and their teachers and parents. I laughed, I cried, I used an Irish accent in my head. My only gripes are that it had slightly too many minor characters to keep track of, and was perhaps just a tad too long. But a very good book.
