This was a Facebook status shortly before finishing this book: I won't say this is one of my favorites, but the right book at the right time. I really needed something I could stick my nose into and read quickly. Also the paper back cover glows in the dark.

Last line: A clerk and a ladder and warm golden light, and then: the right book exactly, at exactly the right time.
