This is a generous 3, more like a 2.5 really.

It's partly my fault, as I could barely remember anything from the first book, but then there was no sort of recap or much of a past reference. There wasn't a whole load of plot really and the ending annoyed me. The characters also all felt a bit shallow.

I absolutely adore the author's Facets of Faeries series and really enjoyed the first in her new series as well, but maybe this series isn't for me. ...more

!HUGE CLIFFHANGER WARNING! Look, I love this author's books and ideas, but they are all in serious need of an editor, and this one is no exception. It is full of grammar errors and typos.

I had been looking forward to this book, but I felt like it was too light on plot overall. I feel like I could summarize all the action in one or two sentences.

I still like the series and am looking forward to book 3, but I hope that we get more action and better writing in it. ...more

Love it!

I will always read anything Zoe Parker writes because it is always amazing. She makes Fay fun again. This book was no exception. Keri is one of my favorite characters and her guys are awesome. Even when the story gets serious, there is always time to laugh. It ends on a killer cliffhanger but it doesn't take away from the awesomeness of this book. ...more
