Shelves: fantasy, kindle-unlimited, pnr, smuttery

Monster smut is a new genre for me, and I wasn't sure if I would like it, but I really do like this author and so decided to give it a try. I liked it, but look...this book is like 85% monster sex, 15% plot. I would have appreciated at least 25% more plot.

But there is a thread of plot there, and it seems like it is going to unfold over the series as a whole. I'm not sure there was enough here for me to really get invested, though. We'll see if I am drawn back in for more gushing monster sex when ...more

Lives up to the hype

This book has a lot of fans gushing over it so I was a tad worried it would be over hyped as some books are. However this one definitely lives up to your expectations. It was sweet, exciting, thought provoking and best of all steamy as heck. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next book.
