In her new book, Weiner tackles a sensitive and sometimes controversial topic: egg donation and surrogacy. Annie married her high school sweetheart and is a stay-at-home mom to her 2 boys. Struggling to make ends meet, she decides to become a surrogate to help her family out a financial hole. Jules just graduated from Princeton and decides to donate her eggs to a fertility clinic. Another great story by Jennifer Weiner. A story with women at the center and the issue of bearing child - whether the inability or the women who help those who can't, I felt that this book was a great tribute to how women can create communities with very little in common. I really enjoyed this book. I love books that offer a different point of view for each of the characters. This book was all about surrogacy and artificial insemination. I liked reading the stories each of the women involved had.

The ending was nice when Rory was making the family tree and they were talking about the roles everyone played in her life. Its still a very strange and unusual situation, but I liked how Weiner summed things up. Oh, and I loved

Really interesting story and not much what I expected. I enjoyed the characters and while fertility and surrogacy were definitely not 100% accurate, it was an interesting read.
