Given the reputation of this book I was expecting a complicated in depth insight into modern society highlighting all the flaws, questions and dilemmas of conformity, scientific advances, genetic research and human cloning. Instead this was a surprisingly easy read that did raise a lot of questions in the thinking reader but also allowed the relaxing reader to just enjoy the story if that is what they wanted to do.
